Raise the Roof 2018

The Spire Theater is raising money to replace the roof. The building is around 150 years old and was the first established church in Jamestown where James Prendergast actually was a member. It has now been an artistic venue and headquarters for thespians, musicians, filmmakers, comedians, poets, and more to safely and creatively follow their dreams. A variety of productions have taken place where people of all ages and backgrounds have participated. If you’re active in participating or supporting local arts and culture, I ask that you donate to the fundraiser and come to the festival this Saturday. Some fantastic bands are going to be performing and there’s also a Olive Garden provided pasta dinner available. Portrait or Model Photography

I’ve been involved with filmmaking for over ten years now. In the last 5 years I’ve been more involved in the production side of things. As I’ve gotten more comfortable with operating the camera and editing, I’ve also gotten more comfortable with photography.

Primarily I started with candids and inanimate objects but, over the past couple years, I’ve developed an interest in model and portrait photography. It’s, in some ways, more nerve-wracking because you have to actually interact with someone else who is also nervous because their photo is being taken. This has held me back from doing a lot of model-based photography but if I found a couple people patient enough to try some stuff, I’d love to play around with different locations and lighting techniques.

If you’re interested in working together or you need portraits, let me know. I’d love to try some new things.
